The Model 4139 from Dytran Instruments Inc., Chatsworth, CA, is a signal conditioner designed for airborne flight testing. the 6-channel device powers up to 6 IEPE constant-current-type accelerometers while adding filtering, output biasing, and output limiting. The unit operates from 28 VDC; is 6.25 by 4.00 by 1.03 in.; and weighs ~ 0.75 lb. Input power, output signals, and power to the accelerometers are interfaced by one D-sub multipin connector; accelerometers connect to the device through six 10-32 jacks. A nominal 2.50 VDC offset is provided at the output. Output signal positive swing is limited to 5.6 V.
