The BT-637 from Met One Instruments Inc., Grants Pass, OR, is a lightweight, bench-top, particle counter suitable for continuous monitoring at a 0.1 cfm flowrate. The volumetric flow is controlled with internal temperature sensors that continually monitor and correct the flow. Six pre-set particle channels are for 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0, 2.0, and 5.0 µm. Concentration range is 0–3,000,000 particles/ft.3 with ±10% accuracy to calibration aerosol and 0.3 µ sensitivity. An RH and temperature probe is optional. Applications include cleanroom monitoring and verification, medical device testing and manufacturing, filter testing, food/beverage manufacturing and packaging, aerospace assembly, and auto and appliance paint booths.
