The FRADENPROBE FP-132A from CleanAlert LLC, Oberlin, OH, is an air velocity transducer for use in HVAC systems, large building automation, cleanroom, and data center management applications. The device uses thermal anemometry to measure air velocities up to 2500 fpm with accuracy of ±5% of reading from 200–2500 fpm and ±5% of reading ±10 fpm below 200 fpm. Response time is <20 s from 0%–95% of air flow rate, power-on warm-up time is <30 s. Operating temperature range is –18°C to 50°C and storage temperature is –40°C to 125°C. Output formats include a linear 0.5–4.5 VDC signal and a digital PWM signal.
