Expanding Texas Instruments’ successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) product portfolio are 12 devices that reportedly provide the industry’s widest analog supply and common-mode voltage ranges. The single-channel ADS8881 family includes high-performance, ultra-low power 18- and 16-bit SAR ADCs with speed options ranging from 100 ksamples/s to 1 Msamples/s.
