The Generation II ABS Acoustic Bubble Spectrometer from DynaFlow Inc., Jessup, MD, allows you to measure bubble size distributions and void fractions in gas/liquid mixtures. The Generation II ABS features an increased data sampling rate, a bubble detection limit below 10 µm radius, increased accuracy, and all its hardware external to the processing computer has been integrated into a single box. A laptop configuration is also available using an Express Card port. Applications include monitoring bubble populations in bioreactors, oceanography, chemical engineering, cavitation studies, biological media, and food processing.
