32-Bit MCUs and Embedded Firmware Development Framework from Microchip

Microchip Technology Inc., Chandler, AZ, offers two new products: (1) The 24-member PIC32MZ embedded connectivity (EC) family of 32-bit MCUs which provide 330 DMIPS and 3.28 CoreMarks/MHz as well as dual-panel, live-update Flash (to 2 MB) large RAM, and connectivity peripherals. The PIC32MZ also has a hardware crypto engine with random number generator for high-throughput data encryption/decryption and authentification. (2) The MPLAB Harmony firmware development framework that integrates middleware, drivers, libraries, and RTOSs; and allows developers to simplify 32-bit MCU code development process by reducing bugs.
