2.4 GHz RF Front End from Texas Instruments

The CC2591 from Texas Instruments Inc., Dallas, TX, is a 2.4 GHz RF front end for low-power and low-voltage wireless applications. The device features an integrated power amplifier to increase output power to 22 dBm and a low-noise amplifier to improve receiver sensitivity to 6 dB. It provides a seamless interface to the company's existing and future 2.4 GHz RF transceivers, transmitters, and SoC products. The CC2591 also integrates a balun, switches, inductors, and an RF matching network. Wireless applications include ZigBee networks, sensors, and industrial, consumer, and audio equipment.
