16-Bit ADC Delivers 210 Msamples/s With 80-dB SNR

The LTC2107 16-bit a/d converter (ADC) delivers 210 Msamples/s with a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 80 dB and a 98-dB SFDR at baseband. Aperture jitter is 45 fsRMS, enabling direct sampling of frequencies up to 500 MHz. Other features include a programmable gain amplifier front end that sets the ADC input range to either 2.4 VP-P or 1.6 VP-P. Available in a 7 mm x 7 mm QFN package in both commercial and industrial temperature grades, price starts at $99 each/1,000.
