12-Axis Sensor Reference Platform from Freescale

Freescale Semiconductor, Austin, TX, offers a fully-enabled 12-axis sensor development reference platform in support of Microsoft Windows 8 sensor requirements. The platform includes the company's Xtrinsic MMA8451Q triaxial accelerometer; Xtrinsic MAG3110 triaxial magnetometer; Xtrinsic MPL3115A2 precision altimeter, pressure, and temperature sensor; and an analog ambient light sensor and supports a selection of compatible gyroscopes. It integrates the company's ColdFire+ MCF51JU128VHS microcontroller that acts as a sensor hub and couples the company's sensor fusion software to combine, configure, and process sensor data to the requirements of Windows 8.
