MCP651/2/5 (MCP65X) op amps from Microchip Technology Inc., Chandler, AZ, include mCal, an onchip calibration circuit that calibrates offset voltage at powerup by using an internal power-on reset detector or based on the state of an external pin. This results in a low initial voltage offset and a means to minimize drift over time and temperature. Features include 50 MHz bandwidth, low bias and quiescent currents, high output drive capability (95 mA), a rail-to-rail output. The MCP651 evaluation board is also available. Applications include consumer electronics, industrial instrumentation, and medical device markets.
