The XChip is a highly integrated x86 class processor with a built-in Ethernet MAC and 10–100 PHY, 256 KB SRAM, up to 11 general-purpose I/O, and a serial UART in a 12 by 12 mm 184 BGA RoHS-compliant package. Firmware and network stack includes TCP/IP, UDP, BootP, DHCP, and AutoIP. The XChip Direct is an embedded device gateway coprocessor.
