Spectrum Control Acquires Summit Instruments

The transaction expands Spectrum’s sensors and controls business to include inertia components and systems.

FAIRVIEW, PA /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spectrum Control Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of custom electronic products and systems, announced that it has acquired all of the outstanding common stock of Summit Instruments Inc. Dick Southworth, Spectrum Control's President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are very pleased to complete this transaction, which expands our Sensors and Controls Business to include inertia components and systems.
