DailyBurn Releases Inferno HR, First Interval Heart Rate Zone Workout Series to Incorporate Live Data into Exercise

The New Heart Pumping Program Integrates Heart Rate Data On-Screen, Allowing Users to Accurately Monitor their Progress and Reach Target Zones

NEW YORK, NY -- DailyBurn, an online health and fitness brand streaming premium video workouts to connected devices, released its 14th program InfernoHR, the first interval heart rate zone workout program to integrate participants' live heart rate data on connected TV "primary" workout screens. The Inferno HR program syncs an iOS device with any major Bluetooth low energy heart rate monitor, streaming the live data into the workout display as the program progresses so that users can better understand heart rate zones and modify their efforts to get the best results.

"HR" stands for heart rate training--the most reliable method for monitoring workout intensity. Inferno HR aims to improve VO2Max, the body's ability to utilize oxygen for energy, and lactate threshold, the ability to work at a higher intensity for a longer period of time. The Inferno HR training creates an EPOC effect (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption), which increases post-workout metabolism, resulting in continued calorie burn during rest periods and even hours after the workout is completed.
