The PX3 series heavy-duty pressure transducers offer accurate pressure monitoring for HVAC, refrigeration, air compressor, pump, and valve systems. Converting pressure into an analog electrical signal, the sensors reside in a brass housing and support multiple configurations to minimize implementation and production costs. Current consumption is low to help reduce system energy costs, while also enhancing product life when used in battery-driven systems.

Importantly, the PX3 series is compatible with many next-generation, low-global-warming-potential (GWP) refrigerants, including Honeywell’s Solstice N40. With a GWP that’s 68% lower than R-404A, said to be the most commonly used supermarket refrigerant, Solstice N40 exhibits a 3% lower energy consumption in low-temperature applications, and five to 16% lower energy consumption in medium-temperature applications when compared to R-404A.
With a pressure range from 1 bar to 50 bar (15 psi to 700 psi), the series also features freeze-thaw resistance to frost, high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) radiated immunity, shock and vibration tolerance, a wide operating temperature range, and high surge immunity at ±1 kV line to ground per IEC 61000-4-5.
