U.S. CBP Awards $5.4 Million Contract to FLIRJuly 15, 2010
The agency will purchase Star SAFIRE HD stabilized multi-sensors to assist its air assets guarding U.S. borders.
PORTLAND, OR /Marketwire/ -- FLIR Systems Inc. announced that it has received a $5.4 million order from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The contract award is for Star SAFIRE HD stabilized multi-sensors. The units delivered under this order will be used to assist the CBP air assets in their performance on missions guarding the borders of the U.S. Work on this order will be performed at FLIR's facilities in Wilsonville, OR, and deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of 2010.
